Professor Frank Roberts, 2nd Degree blackbelt, has been studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since June 2010 under Karel "Silver Fox" Pravec. He was an instructor for Silver Fox Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Saddle Brook) for over 8 years, teaching both adults and children of all levels. He now is the head instructor and owner of Silver Fox BJJ East Hanover which has cultivated a Jiu Jitsu family composed of competitors and hobbyists of all ages since 2020. His attention to detail while instructing plays a crucial role in the success of even the most beginner of students.
Learn the most effective form of self-defense from a high level BJJ black belt with competition and MMA experience. We offer classes for all levels that benefit students ranging from hobbyist to professional fighter. Helping students achieve their own personal goals of fitness, weight loss, confidence, and/or competition.
No-Gi is a great transition into martial arts for wrestlers. Due to the lack of friction, it causes students to develop ways to control their opponent when grips are not available. Having the option of slipping out of position causes for a more faster paced sparring/rolling that makes a great overall cardio workout!

One of the biggest lessons when starting Jiu Jitsu is to learn how to be comfortable being uncomfortable. Being calm under pressure allows you to better conserve your energy and plan your next move as opposed to panicking.
