FRANK
ROBERTS

Professor Frank Roberts, 2nd Degree blackbelt, has been studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since June 2010 under Karel "Silver Fox"  Pravec. He was an instructor for Silver Fox Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Saddle Brook) for over 8 years, teaching both adults and children of all levels. His attention to detail while instructing plays a crucial role in the success of even the most beginner of students.

In addition to instructing at the academies, Frank is a high-level coach for those who are a part of the Silver Fox BJJ competition team; coaching at local and national level tournaments. His knowledge is not just limited to Brazilian jiu-jitsu, as Frank also is a part of the MMA team and staff. He has cornered fellow professional and amateur fighters at both local and national level.

While Frank is dedicated to his career as a professor and a coach, he also has competed and won titles in both Mixed Martial Arts and Professional grappling events. Below is a list of his accomplishments as a competitor:

  • 2010 Renzo Gracie No-Gi Open – 1st place (White Belt)

  • 2011 Good Fight World Championships – 2nd Place (Blue Belt, Gi)

  • 2016 Naga Expert Division – 2nd Place

  • Men of War Pro Super Fight - Win By Arm lock in under 2 minutes 

  • MMA Results (Record 5-3):

    • Win – by Submission in first round at Asylum Fight League 37

    • Win – by Submission in second round at Helster MMA Fight League

    • Win – NEW Dead Serious 155lb champ!

    • Win – by Submission and 1st Title Defense of Dead Serious 155lb belt.

    • Win – CFFC 53 Pro-am
